What Is The Map at Stampede?

The map at Stampede is a large, physical map displayed prominently at the entrance of the BMO Centre, in Hall A2. The map is designed to welcome people visiting from across Canada, North America, and other countries with a fun way to give representation for their homes. This simple act sparks conversations and builds a sense of community among travelers and locals alike. Whether you’re from Calgary, another part of Alberta, or a faraway country, your pin tells a story.

This map is more than just a visual display. It’s a way to celebrate diversity and shared experiences. You might find pins clustered around major cities like Calgary and Edmonton, but you'll be surprised to see hundreds of pins packed into places like the Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Nigeria, Chile, and the entire continent of Europe. Each pin represents a person’s journey to the Stampede, making the event feel even more inclusive and welcoming.
