The Story Behind the Map
After 20+ years navigating the skies, Damar knows that representation matters. When he finally flew alongside another Black pilot at a commercial airline—a first in his career—he realized the power of seeing yourself reflected in your aspirations. The DLX Pilot mission is simple but profound: if you have a dream and aspire to be something, it can happen for you. Pilot, doctor, gym teacher—whatever calls to you.
 
This map embodies that mission. Every pin placement is a reminder that the world is yours to explore, and your dreams are yours to chase.

UPN's Mission: Raising awareness for career opportunities in aviation for minorities while stressing the importance of higher learning and mentorship.
